I have a Yes/No variable and I set "No" as the default value. It is not working...what I'm trying to do is a "work around since my UI policy isn't working either. I'll attach emails.
The goal is to have "none" as de default value which works. BUT, since UI policy is not being enforced (when the page loads, it doesn't work, however, when you toggle yes-no-none, it does). I'm now trying to set default value as "Yes" to see if that makes
my other values toggle their visibility.
Please HELP.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, I'm not seeing the result you're approaching me with.
Again, as I mentioned above, about a year ago in this thread, you can set the default value of a Yes/No variable by using "No" or "Yes" in the default value section of the variable settings:
Then I was thinking, ok, maybe you meant after you submit it and it becomes a RITM...then...somehow it has multiple "No"s:
...?
Then I checked the value in the database and it's the same as well, so I'm not sure what you may be referring to, sorry.
Perhaps you can give more information? As I'm not seeing 2 "No"s and a "Yes". There is 1 of each as intended, because it's a yes/no field.
Thanks!
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

You don't have "Applies on Catalog Item View" checked on your UI Policy. Try checking that box and trying again.
I hope this helps!
