I want to limit the columns of the filter of Data Table from Instance Definition

Hi

I am using a widget named Data Table from Instance Definition.

If the columns of the table read by the widget are A, B, C, and D, and the columns displayed by the widget are A and B, I want to limit the columns that can be selected by the filter to A and B.

(What I want to limit is the columns listed in the image attached below.)

Is there a way to set it like above?

Hi @Akihisa Abe

1. On filter you can see only the fields which are in active on that table.

2. If you want to hide any specific fields on filter or anywhere to the particular user then you need to create read ACL and add role then Only users with that role can see these fields.

Hope you it helps you.

Hi @Akihisa Abe ,

As per OOB widget, there is no configuration available to restrict columns in filter. This is how it works, all columns will be available in filter irrespective of columns added on list view.

Mark my answer correct & Helpful, if Applicable.

Thanks,

Sandeep
