I want to send large file

I have created scripted and table api ( which create incident with attachment from different portal on servicenow) and want to send large files through that but if I am sending file more than 5 mb   sometime transaction get aborted and its also taking too much response time for the creation of API .

Is there any way by which we can send large files with good response time and what will be the maximum file size in case of both the api's?

And also, make sure that com.glide.attachment.max_size has not been altered and the extension exist in glide.attachment.extensions
