Iframes in service portal

Hi Experts,

I want to know the complexities which comes when we use i frames in service portal.I remember when service portal is introduced it has been suggested not to use iframes within service portal, since it may break the functionality during upgrades, but later service now provided option to include them.

We are now trying to build few custom pages using iframes but before starting with it we would like to know the consequences.Please let us know if anyone has any idea on this.

Iframes are not supported in service portal.

I tried using iframe in one my SP widget,page and it doesn't work.
