We have updated our theme using the branding editor, added our logo and a background image to show in the search area. Both show when we are logged in as ourselves. As soon as we impersonate a user, the logo reverts to the text and the background image in the search area is gone. It does however seem to keep the color stylings. Why would this be occurring?

Nothing I can point you to. It is a domain separated enviroment. Could that be an issue?

Yes, it totally could be. Are the working and non-working users in different domains such that they don't have access to the files across the domain? Can you take your working user and impersonate users that are known to be in the same domain and see if they do or don't work.

OK, It looks like it was indeed a cross domain issue. I created all my changes in a lower domain. My user is now part of the parent domain. How do i move the changes up to the global domain?

I am not at all a domain separation authority. I think the best thing to do would be to log in as an admin with access to the parent domain and make the changes again there. Someone with more domain separation background feel free to chime in!

Hello Shawn,
Here's what we did and it worked: Update the logo of the portal in the corresponding domain.
Our users of the selected domain and users of the sub-domains see the logo.
Hope that'll will work for you, too.
