Implementing ServiceNow HR for the first time as a BPC

Good day! I am going to be on a project that is for HR and I will be a BPC. I do not have any details about the project yet. This is my first HR project as a BPC. Would you have any real advice that could help me get through?

@Danielle10 As a process consultant you should have a very good understanding and features supported by HR Service Delivery application provided by ServiceNow. This knowledge comes in handy while setting the expectations of the end users and project sponsors.

 

BPC also acts as a bridge between the implementation team and the product owners, sometimes the customer/end users might ask for a feature which is not supported by OOTB, technical team might not want to proceed with such customisations but business might see it as a critical feature and may want to get it implemented, you need to find a middle ground in such cases and find a solution which works for both the parties.

 

You will also need to organise various workshops with end users, product owners to make them aware of the features provided by ServiceNow and to demonstrate how their existing process can be aligned with HR Service Delivery applications.

 

After the process rollout, few training sessions would also be needed to make the users/agents accustomed to HR Service Delivery interface.
