Hello all,
New admin here, one of my first projects is to import some data into one of our databases and update a particular field. Pretty straight forward. Running through it in our Test instance before moving to Dev. Ive successfully created an import set with no errors. However there were 3 ignored records. I understand there could be lots of reasons for this. However, for now, Id just like to know:
1. A way to check which records were ignored specifically
2. Any log record stating why or give a clue as to why it was ignored.
3. If there is nothing that is done automatically baseline. Is there a way I can attach a script to the import set in order to process a log or a debug message as to what record failed/ignored?
I tried checking the Import Log (from the "Next steps..." section) but it really didnt give me any info that would help me. Even checked the related link of "Show Log Entries" and nothing useful there (from what I could decipher).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Great investigative work Nestor. I'm glad you got it (mostly) figured out.
Don't forget to mark the appropriate response as correct so others can learn from this in the future and it gets taken off the "Unanswered" list.
Thanks.

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for all the help, its appreciated, honest. I marked this question as "Assumed Answered" as the question was to see if there was a way to check exactly which record entries had been skipped. A lot of great info here, but I dont think there really has been a clear answer so far, other than just "no, there isnt a way". SN seems to only have info on successfully imported data and Im wondering if there is an answer out there, perhaps Id have to run the instance in debug mode in order to get a full read out... hmmm...
But right now, marking it as "Assumed Answered". Thank you so much!

Hi Nestor,
Go to transform history->open the record and check for related list Import set Errors and Import logs.
This should give you the clue.
