Importing Knowledge into a newly created Template

Hello,
I am looking for advice on how to import knowledge articles from one ServiceNow instance into another using a newly created knowledge template. We are consolidating with another Service Desk and they had very specific templates they use. The new template is created in the instance they are moving to but I'm not sure how to import from the old KB. Is this even possible?

Hello,
Yes, it's possible to export articles from one instance and import them into another. When you export the articles from the old instance make sure you export whichever necessary fields you need to fulfill the template. Articles that are exported with HTML fields will contain the HTML tags in the data. You can then take the xls or csv file and create an import set in the new instance and import directly into the newly created template table. All article formatting and information should come across.
