In catalog item, First task will be generate on 1st of every month.

Hi Community,

 

There is one requirement, In which the first task of RITM need to be automated.

 

The task1 should be generate on every month's 1st date.

 

Need information on this, how can we do that?

Hi @sandeshraut198 

 

If I understood your requirement clearly, you have a catalog item on submission of which a RITM is generated and you want to auto-create a catalog task under this RITM on the first of the upcoming next month only once that too with a workflow. 

 

If yes, you can make use of Timer Workflow Activity. Refer https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-servicenow-platform/page/administer/workflow-activities/re...

 

If this is a new requirement, I will suggest you to proceed ahead with Flow Designer as Workflows are now legacy.
