Is to possible to automatically give hyperlink to incident number when the records are exported to excel.?

If you must, then I would go with the URL field approach identified earlier. Also let them know that the cost of doing this configuration for legacy purposes could be spent on developing an in-system report that gives them the real-time linking, drill-in capabilities, etc. Show them the benefits!

You could try something like this - it works for me
- Export records to excel
- Highlight/Select column with incident numbers (in Excel)
- In Excel go to Excel Tab and select links. On "Edit Hyperlink" copy your servicenow link (list of your incidents) in "Address field"
- Click OK to close it.

I'm trying to help someone with this question too. I'm thinking the best answer is to create a dashboard and send a link to the dashboard. Of course, that won't help for scheduled reports but this is the best solution I can think of.
