Incident Record producer - let end users select a CI

Hi everybody, 

 

I have a question relative to the portal form for creating an incident.

 

My custumer wants the end user to be able to select a CI through a reference field, for identifying the device which faces an incident. But unfortunatly, cmdb_ci is not accessible (read) without specific roles.

I don't think that a new ACL which would provide read access to everyone would be a good solution...

 

How could I take in account my customer need ?

Hi @mathieu_brule 

 

You need to create a new record level ACL.

  • Type: record
  • Operation: read
  • Name: cmdb_ci.*  (or a specific child class )
  • Requires Role: Add your end-user/requester role (e.g., sn_cmdb_user)
