Incident Report - total number of incidents opened in the past 7 days

I'm building a new report to show the total number of incidents opened each day, over the past 7 days. This should be simple, but I am running into difficulty. My report criteria is listed in the screenshot below and I'm using the graph type line, and the data is correct.

Where I run into an issue is the X-axis is showing the days of the week in order (Sunday- Saturday), so Tuesday is data from yesterday, 3/17 and Wednesday is displaying day from 3/11. Is there a way for the days to be in chronological order?

Can you click "add sort" and sort by date?

Hello. You should be able to add sort and then sort by a new column, such as date.

Thanks, Elijah and John for your quick response. 

 

So adding the sort field doesn't seem to make a difference. The two choices I have that would make sense are created and opened. neither changed the layout. I've also tried using the classic IU as I've needed to use this view with other reports I've created. No luck.
