Insert and Stay option

Hi Everyone,

I have shared a report with a user who has all   the reporting roles except the report_admin.

This user is able to access my report but when we do "insert and stay" , it is disabling the save button. The drop down next to save is working but the save button itself is greyed out.

Could you please advise what is wrong here?

Hi Everyone,

Found out that the user is able to do an insert and stay if we change the sharing settings to "everyone" instead of the group.

Not sure why it wont work if we share it to a group.

Thanks for the update. ideally it should work for "Group" scenario also. Not sure why this is not working in your instance.

Hi Sowmya,
You may look into the user's Groups, if they are in a group that doesn't contain a default role it may be stripping their rights typically granted to them by other groups and impacting reporting. We had an issue similar to the one your are describing and added the default set of roles to the group and it corrected the problem.
Hope that is the right solution for you as well.
