Hi Everyone,
I have shared a report with a user who has all the reporting roles except the report_admin.
This user is able to access my report but when we do "insert and stay" , it is disabling the save button. The drop down next to save is working but the save button itself is greyed out.
Could you please advise what is wrong here?

Hi Sowmya,
Roles are assigned by Assignment Groups. You or the user in question may be in an Assignment Group that doesn't have any roles associated with the Assignment Group. If there are no roles assigned to one Assignment Group we are finding that it overrides the roles that may be associated with all of the users reporting assignment groups. You maybe need to review the Assignment Groups associated with the user and assign at least one role to any assignment group that doesn't contain a role.

Hi All,
I have raised an HI incident for this issue and they have provided the below workaround.
1) BEFORE inserting a new record via "Submit", "Insert", or "Insert & Stay"
2) Click the drop down arrow, select "Sharing"
3) Click the radio button for "Me"
4) Now user can insert the new report and user will be able to fully edit the sharing options later. Also, if doing an "Insert" or "Insert and Stay", the old report's sharing options will not have been changed because the changes in step #3 were never saved.
And this issue was fixed in "Geneva Patch 8".

Hi Swamy,
We just upgraded to Geneva Patch 8 and this issue with the "Save" button disabled after performing an "Insert and Stay" still exists on that version.
However, the workaround you provided works.
I just wanted to let those who haven't upgraded to Geneva Patch 8, which was released just this past weekend, know that the issue was NOT fixed in that Patch version.
