Instance Upgrade / Clone

Hello,

If an instance eg. PROD is upgraded to newer version and then we plan to clone PROD to DEV instance, is it required that the DEV instance is upgraded prior the close or it will upgrade during the clone?

Hi,

No need to upgrade dev before cloning. when it is cloned it will take the version of the source instance.
