Hi Community,

Instead of ServiceNow admin which role is required to add customer_admin role (sn_customerservice.customer_admin) into particular contact in CSM from Native UI?

Thanks,

To use the related list UI action 'Assign roles' on the customer contact form, you need sn_customerservice.partner_admin or sn_customerservice.customer_admin. Otherwise user_admin role is required as a minimum

Hi @Srinivasu2,

In ServiceNow, to add the sn_customerservice.customer_admin role to a particular contact in Customer Service Management (CSM) from the Native UI, the user performing this action typically needs the necessary permissions.

The specific role required for adding the sn_customerservice.customer_admin role to a contact would typically be a role that has the "User Admin" capability or a custom role with appropriate permissions.

Hi @Jitendra Diwak1 ,

Is this sn_customerservice_manager role user can add sn_customerservice.customer_admin role ?

Thanks,

Srinivasu

Hi,

Yes, typically the "sn_customerservice_manager" role in ServiceNow would have the necessary permissions to add users to the "sn_customerservice.customer_admin" role. However, the exact permissions and configurations might vary depending on the specific setup and customizations in your ServiceNow instance.
