Integrating Service Now with 3rd party tools ?

Hi All,

We want to integrate SNOW with a tool, which use the following method of communication : -

  • cXML
  • EDI
  • OCI

Protocol :- HTTPS

Just wanted to check whether SNOW is able to communicate via any of above methods. If anyone had done this kind of integration, please let us know.

We majorly want to integrate via REST only, as the tool with which we want to integrate does not support SOAP.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

We did successfully create an integration with a very large computer company in Texas, but it was at a great expense and resource. The interface is overkill for a '90's protocol. Eventually they want to go with REST and that would benefit the world. I do not suggest cXML in any aspect. It's clunky and high maintenance. I recommend either waiting for SOAP or REST.
