Hello, please don't be mean to me if I am doing something wrong asking questions. I have only been using ServiceNow for a few hours. I am using a personal computer to learn ServiceNow Development.
I went here to start my journey a few hours ago:
I chose "Assoicate Application Developer course. It was going well until I got to the module "Introduction to App Engine for Developers"
I am completely stuck at the "App Engine Studio Guided Setup"
When I click the "Configure" button to 'Connect Spokes" it brings up a list of spokes that must be configured and installed in order to work in App Engine Studio.
So I clicked on "Jira" and it wants me to sign in. So I click on the sign in button and get a message 'Sorry, you can't login with this ServiceNow ID" So I click on "Log in with a different ID and I either get another message "Security constraints prevent access to requested page" or I can login but then I try to go back to the "Jira" page and it wants me to login. I thought these courses were FREE. Please someone help me get all this set up so I can continue with this course. Thanks!!!!

Thanks, that makes sense.
In a prod environment this this would make sense because you would need to get an entitlement in the store to install the plugins.
In a learning or pdi environment you can go to Plugins in the navigator:
And then install the needed spokes from there.

Hi @sprdave,
Check in the course you where following what the status of your instance is.
The nowLearning instances can only be used for a certain amount of time.
You will probably not receive an email from the instance for a password reset, since (I assume) emails are disabled on the nowLearning instances.
I'm afraid you need to wait for support to help you.

I logged into my dev instance and was able to grab some of them. Not all of them were listed but I will try to continue with Introduction To App Engine Studio for Developers.

Good afternoon, Peter.
That's very helpful, i had the same doubt, but now that i have installed the list of spokes says that it they still need to be configured and i can not find where it can be connected and/or configured.

Hi @sprdave ,
1. You can login into your now learning account.
2. go to the 'Introduction to App Engine Studio for Developers' course and click on resume.
3. it will redirect to the below window.
4. click on get instance and start the course.
Mark my answer correct and helpful if helps you.
Thanks,
Nivedita Patil.
