Is anyone familiar with Request management?

Dear All,

 

I have a requirement to analyze that using of requests, workflows instead of custom applications. So we can replace the existing custom applications with out of box stuff using request management.

I might sound wrong but I have no clue how it works.

Please share the related documents/videos to understand it for better usage.
