I have a requirement to show a treeview of Model Categories when choosing a category for a hardware model, but the users don't want the parent of each node to be selectable. I'm not sure if this can actually be done, since most of the filtering criteria I've tried seems to either show or hide the parent, but still allows it to be selected.
Is something like this even possible? Below is an example of the treeview, in this case the users want everything under Networking to be selectable, but not Networking itself:
