Is there a way to set Compact Rows for all list views to be the default for all users?

OK, I am looking for a way to set the Compact View / Compact Rows as a default setting for all list views for all users.

Of course - main idea is to save some screen real estate property;)

Anyone done this?

1. Go to User Administration > User Preferences

2. Search for Name --> table.compact

3. Make the User blank and Value true.
