Within Service Portal we could Emit, Broadcast, and Listen to communicate between parent pages and child widgets. Does this functionality exist within viewports and UI Builder pages or are there plans for it? Besides passing URL parameters.
Basically, I want to click a save button which is on the UI Builder page, which would send a message down into the viewport to save the form and vice versa.
TLDR: Communication between the UI Builder page and the viewports on it.
