Issue while login in ServiceNow instance

Dear Team,

 

I'm facing issue with login in Dev instances while I'm successfully able to login in Test and Production environment via SSO and SAML.

When I'm trying to open the dev instance URL it is redirecting me to the production URL asking User name and password. My Profile is active in all three instances and roles also remains the same.

 

Can anyone please help me to resolve my issue?

Is it happening for all users or only for ur user in dev instance?

Hi,

You may want to discuss this with your internal team or platform team for the ServiceNow environment this is about?

If you're saying that it's redirecting you to what appears to be a Production URL to login, it could be that the Dev instance is incorrectly configured with the Prod information (redirect or otherwise).

We would also need a bit more context here because:

  1. Did you change something yourself about this recently that could have caused this?
  2. Did someone else on your team or the client's team, etc. do something to cause this?
  3. As asked above, is this only happening for you or everyone else?
  4. Can you double-check the URL to see if it's attempting to authenticate or check your authentication via SSO/SAML and it's passing back the success?
  5. Are you able to try and login via /login.do and get in that way?
  6. Are you using a bookmark/favorite to navigate to the Dev instance? Can you try a different URL path?
