Is it okay to add project_user role under ITIL? If not, please provide reason why this practice should not be followed. Thank you.

@Nikita50 You should only do it if you wish to extend project_user role to those users who are already having itil role. Ideally, the roles should not be directly assigned to users and instead should be given via the groups.

Thank you Sandeep.

Requirement is to add project_user role as contains role for ITIL so ITIL users have access to project module. Is it okay to do so, if we consider best practices as project is a different module and should not be mixed with ITIL role.

I will say no, dont add ITIL role to project role. Better create a group and add user who has project role and then give ITIL role to group.

ITIL role is very wide and cause issue if not fully tested.
