KB Article size to 1GB

Hi,

We are planning to increase the KB article size limit to 1 GB and users will upload the videos like training related videos, we have of couple of questions

1. Will it be any system performance issue if we increase the attachment size ?

2.  can we override the default 1GB limit of attachment size ?

Hello,

You can override the default size, but it's not really recommended to do that. ServiceNow isn't meant to be a file repository and over time, it's going to add up. You're also going to increase your clone time length as well.

Anything 1GB or over should be hosted somewhere else and you link/embed it in the article that way.
