Knowledge article flow configuration when checkout is clicked

Hello everyone, 

I have a requirement to use OOB workflow that is knowledge approval publish.

I have an additional requirement that is if it is not a new kb article AND if the submitter is owner or kb manager of the knowledge base. 

it should skip approval process for them and it should directly create publish the article... 

however for all other scenarios it should trigger approval.

You can make a copy of the original publish workflow and make the adjustments necessary to satisfy your conditions
