Knowledge article upload via import set

We need to upload knowledge articles via import set and transform map. The category field on a KA has different parent and child sub-category. However, same sub-category may be valid within different parent categories e.g. "Infrastructure — Database" and "Security — Database".

Now, the thing is, when I am uploading the data through import set from a spreadsheet by transform map, how will I define this category column in the spreadsheet to exactly map the child category to its parent category for respective articles?

Hi,

I wish I could be of more help. I'm limited by the capabilities of the community however. If you can get a parent category field in the spreadsheet, then you may need to do some scripting in the transform script to get the right subcategory mapping to the parent. That's about as far as I can go without some 'hands-on time', which isn't possible here.
