Knowledge MS Word Add-in not following client side script of UI action

Hi Team,

I have a UI action with marking a field mandatory when an article is being published. This does not work on the same UI action on the Knowledge Add-in in MS Word. How can this be modified to make it work within MS Word too.

Also when a KB is Published the article body (text) field is set to readonly on the native UI. But if hit the Save button on a published article in MS Word, it bypasses the workflow and updates the article body directly.
