Language file not working on Value field in metric database view

I'm trying to change the Value field for a report on a metric table for Universal Requests. I believe I'm doing everything correctly, but the column/variable name in the database view isn't changing.

I've tried using the prefixes to see if there's a problem, but the file literally will not save unless I use "Value" as the element.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

You need to remove that record and create a new one from scratch.

There is no table name or column name in SN (here field Element) that is not all lower-case.

Value (in field Element) is not a valid field name.

It is probably a field label, but here you need the field name (which is possibly value).

That's what's strange. You're correct that the variable name is lower case, however, I receive an error when saving it with lower case. Actually, previous saves were goofing up the redirect afterward and putting me on another page, but I saved twice in a row and finally saw this error...

I've never run into this before though, guess I need to do some more searching again. Any help with this error is appreciated.

EDIT: And I have a feeling it's because it's a derived value from the script in the metric. Still, a workaround would be brilliant.

You need to remove that record and create a new one from scratch.

Also if this is really a variable - as in a Catalog Variable - one cannot translate it using the Label method.

Variables are translated using a different mechanism.
