Launch Virtual Agent from Windows Task Bar or Service Tray

Has anyone been able to launch it from the Windows task bar or system tray?  So not embedded in a website but bring it up from the taskbar.

Or be able to launch the ServiceNow for Teams chat directly from the taskbar. So when the click the icon it would bring up Teams and directly in the ServiceNow chat.

The goal here is to have 1 click that the user can start typing and talking to the VA.

Thanks all!

You could try creating a Chrome app/shortcut that will pin to your start menu or taskbar, it should take you directly to Agent Chat/Virtual Agent. In chrome go to: "yourinstance.service-now.com/$sn-va-web-client-app.do". then
Chrome menu -> more tools -> create shortcut

Name it whatever you like and make sure to select "open as window"

You should then have the icon in taskbar and start menu

Hi thee and thanks for the reply.  Much appreciated.

For whatever reason when I try this in both Chrome and Edge the option for creating a shortcut is greyed out and available.  This is my personal pc and not a work one so I have full admin control.

But I'll keep playing with this and see if I can figure it out.

I'll update here soon with my findings.

Thanks again.

Worked.  It was greyed out because I was in a private window in both Chrome and Edge.  Regular windows work perfectly.  Thank you.
