Limit number of results for report gauge

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to limit the number of results for a gauge on a homepage?

For example, I am running a report on open incidents. The number of results exceeds 100. I'd like to show 25 at a time so the user has to use the arrows to paginate to the rest of the results.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Syed. Found the same answer right after I submitted my question. What I find interesting is that I can change the number of INC results (to 20) and I the gauge reflects that number. In IE, it shows 100 still. This tells me that these 'show' numbers are browser specific...weird!

Following article explains the steps: Customizing Homepages - ServiceNow Wiki


  1. Navigate to System UI > Gauges.
  2. Open the list context menu and select Show.
    To open the context menu, click the menu icon (MenuIconUI14.png in UI14) or the arrow icon (Icon-listcontextmenu.png in UI11) beside the list title.
  3. Select the number of rows to display.
