Can someone help me with this question please?
Looking at a new hire process and I have the following;
HR raises a new starter request using a catalog item from service portal and goes for ID creation - It also fires an email to the manager who is listed as variable in the request with a link to raise the PC request.
Is there a way of automatically linking the 2 RITMs (put the reference to each other on the Catalog Item form perhaps) or even pre-filling some data from one form to another???
Thanks
Greg

Did it by doing a lookup to a list of possible RITMs for the manager to choose from those that HR had raised and they get a notification telling them which one to choose.

Check it out order guide. We can raise multiple request items (RITM) at one single request.
Ex:-

Only problem I have with this is that the 2 requests are to be raised by 2 different users. Otherwise I would use that.
Thanks

Hi Greg,
Still we have an other way like order guide.
First create a service request (REQ) with request item(RITM) for ID Creation.
Second create a request item (RITM) for PC request item then link with (REQ) which we have Request reference in RITM form Request.
Then you can see both request items under the same request.
Hit Correct/ Endorsers/ Helpful/ Like depending on the impact of the response
