List choice dependent on choice field

Hi,

 I have a requirement where "region" field is a "choice" and has 4 values, and another field as "store" which has to be multi select, hence I had it as "list". I have created choices for store field. How can make the store field dependent on region.

I have tried with dependent value but it works only when the form is saved.

  Please help me with the solution

I forgot that I had removed this in my PDI earlier.  Not sure why it's there, must be a reason.  Right-click on that 'Reference' field label and Configure Dictionary.  Remove the reference qualifier that excludes sys_choice.
