List of out of box Incident Notifications?

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have a list of all the Incident Out of Box Notifications with a brief description of each (for example, explaining who receives the notification and purpose? I can export the list of notifications and most our self explanatory but I still need to provide a  summary of each to help end users determine the most useful messages they should enable under notifications preferences. Currently our users are getting too many notifications and I need guidance to help them eliminate the unnecessary or gauge what they deem important.

thank you for any advice you have!

Hi,

Did you manage to extract it? If so, as you rightly say, things are self explanatory. Any particular notification that is creating confusion or unclear?

Here is the dilemma and I'm sorry if I didn't explain well initially.  I am an admin in our current instance of service now. We are also utilizing our parent company's instance and I am not an admin on that side. They have about 20 notifications for incident and about half of those are named different than what we have. I can guess on what the condition and who receives the notifications based on the name. For example my pdi out of the box notifications has a notification for "Incident commented for ITIL" and our parent company has Incident - Comments addedPrimary email

I was looking  for suggestions on how to clarify I'm on the right track defining these notifications..which part of me feels I'm not equipped to do unless I have admin access to see the conditions and who receives it.
