Lock the fields in the list view for the specific data and specific users.

we build one functionality to lock fields  based on the selected dates.

ex: lock date is 21/02/23,  On or After 21/02 program user  can no longer make edits to the Program Status Report (and associated Project Status Reports) for all Program Status Reports previous months. 

 

---> new requirement was added with extension of this, the requirement is 

**. Given the lock functionality has been applied to the previous month records, Then the  Program user should not be able to use the inline edition functionality within the Program status report list view to edit the values in the following columns...

****. 

  • Status Report State
  • Benefit Rating
  • Status Date
  • comments  etc...

 

 

can any one help me to solve this

have you tried using ACL on column level?

i know we can restrict list edit through ACL. but i have to know on what condition ACL will apply.
