Lost Knowledge Article Versioning

Hello there everyone, 
I'm currently trying to fix an issue a customer had for some time. 

They had exported Knowledge Articles from their DEV to PROD via .xml files but after the import, the versioning of those Knowledge Articles was lost.

I tried running the "Initialize Versions on Articles" Fix Script as mentioned in the Article version Product documentation.

That didn't work unfortunately. 

The "Knowledge Management Advanced" plugin is active on both instances and it works on newly created articles just the imported ones not.


Has anyone else had that issue? We at our company have never encountered such a behaviour.

Even I am facing a similar issue, I tried running the OOB fix script - "Initialize Versions on Articles" but it's not working.
