Make another field mandatory when updating a separate field in List View

Hello!

In the Incident form, our client has a State and On hold reason fields. When State is On Hold, the On hold reason field is mandatory. This works perfectly in a UI Policy.

The above functionality does not work in a List view. I've tried creating a Data Policy but it did not work.

Please help!

Thank you.

They won't be able to update the two fields at a time from the list view so ask them to update from the form view by opening the incident record.

Hi,

Can you share the screenshots of data policy and data policy rule?

Hi @ramirch,

Data Policy is working fine for me, have you created the same way as shown below ?

OOB Error message appearing on the list view based on the above data Policy.

Follow the above steps and let me know if you need more help!

That's the same one that I created. The client wants is to be able to update the On hold reason on the list view when State is On hold similar to how it functions when updating directly on the form.

They won't be able to update the two fields at a time from the list view so ask them to update from the form view by opening the incident record.
