Hi,
I'd like to make the state field of the sys_pd_activity_context table editable. I've disabled the read-only checkbox in dictionary and created two write ACL's with role admin.
I've also checked for any client script/BR/UI policy/data policy that might cause read-only, but still the state field remains uneditable.
Any ideas? Thanks!

I just checked my OOB instance. OOB there are no write roles at all. Not on table, record or field level. You are showing record and field. Did you also allow for table write access?
By the way: since you can break flows by doing this: maybe create a separate role for this so only users that know what they are doing get this write role.

Hi @Mark Manders thanks for your input.
I've added an extra table write ACL but the state field remains read-only. Am I missing something?

On OOB there are no client scripts/ui policies/ACL's/QBR's that block anything else. I can only imagine that it is something coming from ServiceNow that they really don't want you to touch this. I just don't know what.
Just in case: empty cache, log out and back in. Maybe that will help. Otherwise you will have to create a NowSupport case, I think.

Empty cache didn't solve it either, thanks for helping nonetheless!
