Make project accessible for all the users in filter navigation

I am looking the ways to make project module visible for all the users in filter navigation. Can anyone suggest me how we can do that. Currently  the project table and project module in filter navigation are visible only for certain users.

Hi @Cindy Sim 

I'm not sure about your motive for displaying Project module, but OOTB this is only limited to few roles it_project_manager, it_project_user, it_project_portfolio_user, sn_ppm_finance_read roles.

If you want to make it available for everyone, either you should remove all the roles or add a role for whom you want this to displayed.

I recommend adding a specific role. And, even though the module is exposed to everyone, they may not be able to view, create or update the records as ACLs may prevent it.

So, if you wanna give access to all users,

When logged in as an Admin, search for Project module in All menu and click on edit icon next to Project module and it will display the following page, where you can configure access level by using roles.

 

You need to create a ACLs to allow users to be able to create/update/view the records. And consider licensing cost if you allow other role users to be able to create/update records.

@Cindy Sim You need to use the edit icon beside the project module to see the menu configuration and remove the roles from the roles list.
