Make variable mandatory on catalog task

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to make a variable mandatory on a particular catalog task with catalog ui policies but it doesn't work...

The variable is only visible but not mandatory...

Is there any problem with 'catalog ui policies'??? Is there another way to make it?

Ok...It seems to be some kind of servicenow error. I could make the variable mandatory setting ui policy action mandatory as FALSE and not as true.

Is there any client script for the variable making it mandatory or any variable level?

Ideally the UI policy action should set to be mandatory as true to make the variable mandatory.

If required there is an alternate option as well catalog client script on submit, you can utilize this method as well
