Make variable mandatory on catalog task

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to make a variable mandatory on a particular catalog task with catalog ui policies but it doesn't work...

The variable is only visible but not mandatory...

Is there any problem with 'catalog ui policies'??? Is there another way to make it?

change Read Only to False instead of leave alone.

I tried with that but it doesn't work...I don't know why a simple catalog ui policy can't make a variable mandatory on catalog task.

Are there any other UI policies on the same variable? Check if there is any conflict.

Are there any conditions on the ui policy that may not be getting satisfied?

Mandatory and Read only dont go together, it cannot be read only and mandatory.
