Hi experts, I have an employee form here (to collect input from the employee center portal). Now I want to mandate the checkbox. Is there a way to do that? I am new to ServiceNow 🙂 cheers

Hi @_lt20 ,
Making a checkbox mandatory, essentially means you weant to default the answer to true. Because the checkbox can either be true or false.

The thing is people might not even read the statement. I think the point is to make sure the user read the statement and check the checkbox 😞

I see.
Try going with Yes/No in the same question, just change the property - Boolean Option and you should see a mandatory checkbox appearing below the active field.
Would that work for you?

Thanks for your response. If I do it that way, now if the user selects NO, is there a way to create a message saying 'you need to have the convo first before filling out this form' (basically force them to select yes)? And probably clear the form as well to avoid them submitting it
