Mandatory approval for normal and standard change requests

hi my company requires that ALL Change requests normal and standard go through approval before moving forward. 

I've created Approval definitions and incorporated them inside decisions and incorporated those inside of a Change Policy. I want to edit my Normal and Standard change request models to require approval every time. I know it is not best practice for standard requests but it is quite urgent and it would be so helpful if i could implement this as soon as possible.

Yes, it is not best practice, but as you said earlier, it is required.

As you created the approval policy and all, now you need to update the standard change flow as well, aslo there is BR and script include which need to update. ( These are OOTB so you need to copy and update)

It is not easy way to do , and need full level of testing as if approval rejected or retrigger. So tricky.

What I can suggest , instead of changing in OOTB standard change flow, better create the change model and use that for your purpose.
