Migrate Platform Analytics Dashboard from One instance to another

Hello Experts,

We have Platform analytics dashboards in our TEST instance and I want to move them to PROD. What is the best approach and how can we migrate from one instance to another? 

Hoping for detailed steps to ensure nothing will be broken.

Hi @Rocky5 ,

For Platform Analytics dashboards, update sets alone may not capture everything. So you need to handle it a bit carefully.

Best approach:

• Create an update set.
• Open the dashboard in TEST.
• Click the menu and select “Unload Dashboard”
• Save or update it so all changes are properly captured.
• Check your update set.
• Move the update set to PROD and preview/commit

Also, make sure any dependent items (like indicators, breakdowns, data sources etc.) are already available in PROD.

This approach has worked well for me in similar case 🙂
