Migration of worflow to flow

Hello All

 

We are in process of migrating all the workflow into flow, there are around 1000 catalog item developed with workflow.

 

Now we wanted to develop new catalog with flow and also start using flow. 

 

What are the things to be considered for this migration activity? 

Also, task and approval are triggering slow compared. to workflow

 

How should we approach this migration?

 

Any thoughts, ideas and best practices will be useful.

Hi @J_31 

 

Create a Global flow similar to Global workflow which will take care of most of Catalog items Approvals and Task assignments.

 

Always create event and trigger notifications. Do not directly create email from flow 

 

regarding the slowness part,

All flows are started via a "flow.fire" event. So, if the event queue is lagging behind at all, this could result in Flows processing more slowly.

 

If there are many long running schedule jobs, that could result in slowness as well.
