Moving a record between applications in Global scope can be performed using out-of-the-box functionality in the platform. This process allows administrators and developers to reassign records to the appropriate application without requiring custom scripts or configurations.
Steps to Move a Record
- Open the record that needs to be moved.
- Click on the form context menu (hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the form).
- Select Move to Application from the available options.
- In the dialog window, choose the target application.
- Click Move to complete the process.
Notes
- Make sure you are in the Global scope before performing this action.
- Records cannot be moved while working within a custom application scope.
