Hello Experts,
We have Multi SSO (SAML) for our instances.
A silly question though still wondering if that works, I have set up and copied same IDP (although Instance name is different) with same certificates (working one) ,
But the TEST CONNECTION is unsuccessful.
Question is: Even though i have exported and copied all same set up (updating the System properties & IDP with new ServiceNow instance name ) , should it work ? or still the new instance have to be registered or set up in organization SSO provider?
Thanks

Hi @Nisha30
It should work based on the first part you mentioned. Are you getting any error code?

simply copying is not enough for successful SAML.
Each instance will have it's own unique Certificate etc shared by customer's Identity provider/partner.
SAML certificate for DEV won't work in PROD.
So you need to do the same steps again in PROD during go-live.
