I am trying to generate a report using Project Task as the source table that displays the Forecasted Installation Date for both Project Tasks and the parent Projects on a report, but the Project Task FIDs are not displaying correctly. All Project Task FIDs display the latest FID of the sibling Project Tasks, which could mean that they are displaying the FID of the parent Project.
For example, I have a Project with two children Project Tasks, each with respective FIDs (9/21/24 & 9/20/24); however, the FID for both of the sibling Project Tasks in the report is 9/21/24.
This appears to be an issue with the Multilevel Pivot Table itself, as the data displays correctly as a List. And the issue appears to specifically be with the FID; when I tested Go-Live dates for Projects and Project Tasks using MultiLevel Pivot Table, the data displayed as expected (Project Tasks displayed their respective Go-Live dates).
Go-Live as a field is different than FID in that the Go-Live of the Parent is independent of the Go-Live dates of the children Project Tasks and in that it is editable. Parent Projects adopt their FIDs from the latest FID of their children and the FID of the parent is not editable. I'm not sure if this difference is part of the issue.
Is there some reason that the Multilevel Pivot Table is seemingly using the FID of the parent Project as the FID of the children Project Tasks? Has anyone else encountered similar issues when using the Multilevel Pivot Table in reporting?
