Hi,

I have a flow in Flow Designer that have multiple "Ask for approval" action on the same RITM.

The first approval action is for approver "Mister X". When Mister X approve, there is a second approval action for Mister Y but when the second approval action kick's in both approver are now back to reqested (Mister X and Mister Y).

Those any one can help?

Thank you

Well technically, you're requiring secondary approval...so it's not really "approved" until it passes all requests for approvals. So it would hit the first one, get "approved" by the first person, but that shouldn't yet mark the overall approval to approved just yet, then it would go to secondary for the final approval.

So you'd need to check your first activity to ensure it's not really stamping it as approved, when it's not...it's just "approved" to continue in the workflow else it would go right to rejected if the first person said no.

Hi,

I did open a Case with ServiceNow and the fixed my issue:

The Approval rule were not configured properly for sc_req_item.

So we tried the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Navigate to Approval Engine
  2. For sc_req_item change the dropdown value to "Turn engines off" from "Approval Rule"

Thank you

Hi @chaffou , what happened to the current Flows from flow designer that have ask for approval if you turned it off?

I had this issue, not sure if it is related, but I looked at the 'Approval Engines' and had to change this for Requested Item to 'Turn Engine Off'
