name field shows null values

For some reason, the list view of the name column on the user record shows up null as part of name field. but when I click on it, it displays normal first name last name in the name field.

If it is updating all records every day, then no, you do not need to run the script. If it is only updating SOME of the records, then yes, run it.

It is the name field calculation and we have daily user feed in out system. So should I need to do it. BTW, the issue was there yesterday, but I dot see the NUll values in the list view today.
COuld you please explain a bit more this behavior if possible.

If it was there yesterday and you did a full update on all records last night, then it suggests something else.
I recommend running the script I provided once just to ensure what I believe is what is going on.

Hi chuck, I ran the script in our DEV instance and I cannot see those records with name/manager field with NULL middle value
But could you please explain whats the issue ?

Hi Ravali,
I'll need to consider this further. This is one of those cases where it would be really handy to see your data, business rules, dictionary entries, etc. Unfortunately, the community does not afford such opportunities.
You might want to reach out to customer support at this point. Let us know what you find.
